Qigong Workshop - Bad Stress Out

Modern life trains our bodies to stay in “stress mode.” Over time, we start holding tension in the jaw, chest, belly, and breath—often without realizing it—and this workshop offers a gentle, practical reset that helps your body shift back into rest, ease, and balance. Join Hae Kwang Sunim, Zen monk and founder of Inner Peace Qigong, for a deeply calming and renewing 2-hour session designed to soothe your nervous system, release built-up tension, and restore your energy. You’ll be guided through simple, flowing movements, breathing, and relaxation practices that help you calm stress and anxiety, relax tight muscles and improve breathing, feel more grounded and clear, sleep better, and restore a sense of safety and ease in your body. You'll leave feeling lighter, calmer, and more energized. No experience needed, all are welcome. Offered at Resilience Yoga, 1107 Lorne Park Road #201, Mississauga L5H 3A1. Cost $37 plus HST. Refine and Align workshop series

For those who've been practicing for a while but want to make sure of correct alignment, or who want to spend some time exploring tricky movements such as stepping through from downward dog to a lunge. This fun four-week series of 90-minute workshops examines the most common yoga poses and sequences, as well as adjustments for the times when a pose isn't achievable. Move Well, Age Well: Full Body Mobility Workshop

A guided journey through every major joint of the body, using Controlled Articular Rotations (CARs) and Kinstretch-inspired movement, focusing on the qualities that keep the body resilient as we age: building strength, control, and ease at the edges of the range of motion. We'll explore gentle, intelligent movements for the ankles, knees, hips, spine, shoulders, elbows, wrists, and neck. Each exercise is designed to nourish the joints, improve balance and coordination, and reduce the stiffness that can make everyday tasks feel harder than they need to be. This practice is slow, accessible, and adaptable for all levels. You’ll leave with practical tools to support healthy aging, so movement can remain a source of freedom, not limitation. Offered by Resilience Yoga, 1107 Lorne Park Road #201, Mississauga L5H 3A1. Guided by Angie (@angie.yogini.ca), RYT200 and Certified Functional Range Conditioning Mobility Specialist. $67.80 including HST. Click Learn More to register.
